The Ufulu Festival is an annual event that started 3 years ago with only 200 people in the Citimall shopping centre car park. In 2016 the event was facilitated with minimal resourced but attended by three thousand people.
In the year 2015 it was moved to Mbowe where it saw an increase in community participation. We have increased from a collection of 5 different artist groups to having over 13 different Malawian artists featured including Theo Thompson, Ernest Ikwanga and Suffix.
As well as the main stage concert which saw an audience of over 3000 people. In 2016 we set up a children’s area which saw participation from over 250 children. For more information about Ufulu Festival 2017 click here.
