it will end in praise because jesus is victorious

NOVEMBER SERMON SERIES

NAME: It Will End in Praise
BOTTOM LINE: When we come to the end of ourselves, God is our beginning.

SERIES SUMMARY

Hard times have a pull. They pull us into worry, they pull us into fear and they pull us into anxiety. Uncertainty can blind us to seeing anything God is currently doing or will do for us. When we live in uncertain times it’s easy to feel like this will last forever and nothing will ever change for the better. Uncertainty highlights the things you can’t do and it also highlights the things God is not doing for you

right now. In the end, it can make us feel like God doesn’t care about us, which can lead to worry and anxiety.

When you don’t know what the future holds and when you see that nothing is working out for you, you can feel like it will all end in tears. But the good news is that Jesus never leaves us alone when we are going through times of uncertainty. All things work together for the good of those who love God (Romans 8:28). Because of the presence of God that’s with us in uncertain times, it will all end in praise.

Whatever your situation is right now, the good news is that even though you might be going through something that’s uncertain, God is sure about himself and he is certain of his word. Our God never doubts his actions, he never doubts his word and he never doubts his promises. His promises are not swayed by time but they are firm every single day.

In this sermon series we hope we can encourage one another to live hopeful lives even when everything around us says no. Your faith doesn’t have to be perfect, but you have to direct it toward the one who is perfect. We hope we can be encouraged to keep the faith because the source of our faith is committed to keeping us.
