In times of uncertainty, we can only rely on God’s presence. If there’s one thing we are guaranteed, it is the reality that God has promised to stick with us no matter what. God sticks with us, just like a piece of paper that has been well-glued to concrete is almost impossible to remove with one’s bare hands.

He promises never to leave his people, even when hardship shows up.

Our hope is not in the reality that things are good, but in the truth that we have a good God. It’s easy for us to live based on how things look right now. However, hope looks beyond the current condition, beyond the discouragements, and all the disappointments. Hope is not anchored by what’s falling apart but by the One who never fails and never falls.

Living with hope means that you are willing to live in anticipation of experiencing God’s goodness. Living a life filled with hope is not about having a life with no hardships, but it’s more about paying attention to God’s presence in your life as you go through difficult times.
