Sean Kampondeni led Flood Church in Malawi from 2008 until June 2018 when he entered a year of sabbatical leave. Having grown up in the commercial city of Blantyre until he was 12, lived in the Bahraini city of Manama until he was 19, studied at African Bible College in the city of Lilongwe until he was 23, and worked in the northern city of Mzuzu until he was 26, Sean has a passion for communicating the message of Christ to emerging generations of young people in African cities and universities, as well as a vision to plant urban churches all over Africa for the transformation of its youth. Sean gives Jesus full credit for rescuing Him from a life of sexual immorality and hypocrisy and for helping him find daily enjoyment in being God’s son, being Tapiwa’s husband, and being a Dad to his sons Gabriel, Jordan, and Malakai and daughter Eliana.
